SUMMER READING SUPPORT WORKSHOP

The research is clear: children who don't read during the summer can lose up to three months of reading progress, and that loss has a cumulative, long-term effect. Summer reading intervention can set kids on the right course for learning and even give them an advantage for the next year. Chagrin Townsend Learning Center is offering summer reading programs for students entering grades 2 through 5.  Groups of 4-5 will meet for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon 4 times a week for 2 consecutive weeks (24 total hours).  Students will learn to build on their existing phonemic knowledge and continue to develop their reading and spelling skills in a fun and safe environment.  We use the Tattum/F.A.S.T. Reading method, a multi-sensory, integrated reading program proven to help readers of any level.  SAVE $50 WITH EARLY REGISTRATION!  Enroll by May 7 and pay only $299.  Regular tuition for each two-week session is $349.
